Tokutei Hope Bridge: Mobile Learning Platform

As the key Full-Stack Developer, I led the end-to-end creation of Tokutei Hope Bridge, a subscription-based mobile learning platform for mastering professional Japanese. My work involved architecting the Laravel backend, building the Flutter frontend, and managing the complete CI/CD pipeline for deployment on the App Store.

As a key Full-Stack Developer at Aesthetic Code Lab, I led the technical execution for Tokutei Hope Bridge, a sophisticated mobile learning application developed for our client, the renowned Tokyo Gogaku Gakko (TGG) language school. I played an integral role in the end-to-end development, from server-side architecture to client-side implementation, to deliver a seamless and feature-rich user experience.

The platform empowers both corporations and individuals to master professional Japanese through a subscription-based mobile app, now available on the Apple App Store and other platforms.

My Key Contributions & Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development (Laravel): I architected and developed the core backend, creating robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs to power the application. This included modules for role-based user authentication (RBAC), comprehensive course management, user progress tracking, and secure subscription handling.
  • Frontend Development (Flutter): Stepping beyond a traditional backend role, I took significant ownership of the frontend development. My responsibilities included:
    • Building and implementing major UI components and user-facing screens directly from design mockups.
    • Engineering the client-side logic for consuming RESTful APIs, managing application state, and handling all user interactions within the Flutter app.
    • Integrating the Apple Pay workflow on the client side for a seamless subscription process.
    • Leading the debugging and performance optimization of the Flutter codebase to ensure a responsive and stable application.
  • DevOps & Deployment: I managed the entire CI/CD pipeline for the project. I was personally responsible for architecting the deployment workflow and maintaining the testing and production environments on the Google Play Console and Apple Developer Console.
