Our Paper Dreams

Explore the poetic journey of ‘Our Paper Dreams’, an original masterpiece written and composed by Abu Sayed.

Fold them up and hold them near
Our paper dreams are waiting here
A spark of fire in the falling rain
I want to feel you in my veins
The amber glass catches the final light
I pull you closer into the night
Your fingertips tracing the edge of my sleeve
Giving me something I can believe
Every whisper pulls me deep
Promises that we can keep
Tangled up in the way you move
Nothing left for us to prove
We’re catching fire on our paper dreams
Unraveling all these heavy seams
I want to get lost in the pull of your eyes
Burning alive in the midnight skies
Paper dreams, falling slow
I will never let you go
The shadows dance across the wooden floor
I only know that I am wanting more
A sudden touch that sets the room alight
We are the only ones awake tonight
Drawing me deeper than before
Leaving our shadows at the door
Tangled up in the way you move
Nothing left for us to prove
We’re catching fire on our paper dreams
Unraveling all these heavy seams
I want to get lost in the pull of your eyes
Burning alive in the midnight skies
Paper dreams, falling slow
I will never let you go
We’re catching fire on our paper dreams
Unraveling all these heavy seams
I never thought I could want you this much
You got Sayed begging for one more touch
Every defense is falling apart
I am surrendering all of my heart
I just want to stay right here with you.
Let the whole world fade into the dark.
We’re catching fire on our paper dreams
Unraveling all these heavy seams
I want to get lost in the pull of your eyes
Burning alive in the midnight skies
